Fire Emblem: Three Houses is highly anticipated, and some new news is out on the specs and features of the title. Thanks to a Japanese download card, we know the file size, as well as a few features, coming to this entry of the popular RPG series. Here are the things we learned from the download card.
Three Houses File Size
The file size for a digital copy of Fire Emblem: Three Houses is going to be 11.9 GB. That’s not bad, considering the likely meaty content, including a campaign, side missions, and more. It’s great to see such a reasonable download size, which Nintendo is great at, as opposed to games from other developers that require an SD card.
Three Houses amiibo Support
With a few games opting to not include amiibo support, it was largely wondered if Three Houses would have any amiibo interactions built into the game. It appears it will, but the extent to which amiibo will be used is yet to be known.
Three Houses Online Connectivity
There will be Nintendo Switch Online functionality with Fire Emblem Three Houses. It’s not clear what that could entail, but likely, online battles will be an option. A matchmaking feature, where you can take on others would be a blast, but we’ll have to wait and see what gets announced.
DLC Equipment and Missions
We will be seeing DLC campaigns and equipment for Fire Emblem Three Houses. Prices are not available yet, and I can’t stand it when DLC is announced before a game even comes out, but at least it will add more content.
No Same Console Multiplayer
The Nintendo Switch Online functionality is one thing, but we do know that no multiplayer is available on the same console. A split screen versus mode would be great, but I guess that’s not happening this time around.
