It’s safe to say that Bethesda and Microsoft let fans down in some regards. Ubisoft had some room to impress after a lackluster E3 Day 1, so did they rise to the task? Let’s break down what Ubisoft brought to the table for E3 2019.
The event begins with the Assassin’s Creed Symphony on stage. Behind them, a screen featured game footage as they played scores from a variety of series titles. The Assassin’s Creed Symphony will be touring in 2019 and 2020, helping players to relive their favorite AC experiences. The shows will likely be popular, much like the Zelda Symphony Orchestra that has toured for years.
Watch Dogs: Legion
Next up, a trailer for the new Watch Dogs game. The title is set to take place in London, and the gameplay looks fine-tuned but familiar. London looks absolutely incredible and should be a great setting for the game. It’s also nice seeing gameplay, after all the trailers we have seen this E3 so far. Permadeath for characters is a great feature, and others in your team then pick up where you left off. It appears that recruiting new members will be essential to keeping the team fully staffed and ready to tackle the next project. At the end, a cinematic trailer closed out the visuals. A final trailer reveals the game will release March 6th, 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet

Rob McElhenney from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia took the stage next, announcing a video game TV series. The show, Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, follows a fictional team of developers who made the most popular MMO on the planet. McElhenney will star and developed the show with Charlie Day and other Sunny producers. The show follows the team as they plan a roll out for their next expansion. The show will be out for Apple TV Plus.
Rainbow Six: Siege Updates
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X69RICP2js
The new season of Siege is called Operation Phantom Sight and is available now. A very Bond-like villain is going to be playable, as well as a new Battle Royale mode, called Clutch Royale. Unfortunately, the graphics look very rough.
Adventure Time Comes to Brawlhalla
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQWPLKHv2TU
From the popular show Adventure Time, Finn the Human, Jake the Dog, and Princess Bubblegum are now playable in Brawlhalla. They are playable starting today.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
A very militaristic trailer with soldiers known as Wolves debuts the title Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The soldiers in the game are all former Ghost Recon members. Jon Bernthal plays the main fighter and came on stage with a dog. He talked about playing tough characters and mirrored that to his character Cole D. Walker. A second trailer plays showing that the current Ghost soldiers are fighting the Wolves. AI teammates are back as well for this game, making it possible to play solo but with a team. The new game mode, Delta Company, is a community program for fan art, cosplay, and other player base content. Register for the beta now, which begins September 5th. They plan on the game being playable for years to come.
Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad
In keeping with the Tom Clancy titles, a new mobile game is debuted. Amazingly, it shows Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell games working with a team in turn-based combat. Pre-registration for access starts today.
Just Dance 2020
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtiXKHNAFew
The next Just Dance game is out November 5th. Not much to say, but the trailer is a lot of fun! The game releases November 5th for a ton of consoles, and yes, the Wii is yet again on the list.
For Honor Shadows of The Hitokiri
Not much info on this one, but looks to be some sort of zombie gameplay mode. It will be a limited event for the game’s multiplayer.
Rainbow Six Quarantine
Three player tactical co-op is coming in Rainbow Six Quarantine. Confirmed to be a new game, the development team is making the game with co-op and survival in mind. Gameplay will be a lot like Siege but aims to be a PvE trendsetter.
The Division 2
Not only is new content coming, but the game is going to be free to play for all newcomers from June 13th-16th. The game is certainly a hit, but now, updates should be making it even smoother. Check out the video here for what’s to come. It’s going to include main missions, adventures into the woodlands, a shootout at an abandoned college, and even a mission at the zoo. This is just Episode One. Episode Two is going to be a set of Pentagon missions called Pentagon: The Last Castle. An 8 player raid mode returns this Fall. Episode Three will be a hunt for a missing soldier. Finally, David Leach is going to direct a Netflix film of The Division starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain.
UPlay +
The newest PC subscription service for Ubisoft games. The service will allow subscribers access to the platinum versions of each game, and run for $14.99 per month. This service will include over 100 Ubisoft titles. Sign up today for a free month of the service at launch this September. Much like Xbox Game Pass, titles will be available for subscribers at launch. In 2020, Stadia will get UPlay+.
Roller Champions
A PVP multiplayer that launched its demo for PC on the UPlay Store through June 14th. From the video, it looks like a mix between basketball and roller derby.
Yves Guillemot, Co-Founder and CEO of Ubisoft, closed the event out. He was very nice and kind, really helping insert some extra hype into the conference. The Quebec team was up next, with a new project to close things out.
Gods & Monsters
The game features a very cartoonish style and some great visuals. Best of all, it’s coming February 25th, 2020.
Takeaways
This conference stands out, to me, as the best showing of the E3 conference to date. From Monday’s offerings, Square Enix was the last of the day after this, so check out our coverage of that, as well as our coverage of Nintendo’s Direct tomorrow. Keep it locked onto Phenixx Gaming for more content all E3 long, and beyond!
