Let’s say I was somewhat entirely against last month‘s Prime subscription; Twitch and Amazon would have to do something significant this time to “redeem” themselves. I’ve made it no small secret that I haven’t been too enamored with their complete lack of exciting titles on the games end of the loot. However, i’m sure that a lot of their add-on content is perfect for those that enjoy those games. I don’t: thus I can’t say I’m excited by them.

The reason I was expecting blackjack and hookers, or even a picture of Ryan Reynolds topless, was last year’s loot. Twenty-two games, some triple-A knockouts, and some indie darlings: Most of which I’ve still yet to play. However, they are indeed higher on my list than last month’s, what I call “Stocking fillers.” Clearly, I didn’t get my prayers answered last month and this one? Not so much either. They are well-made games, but the focus seems to be on the MMOs and other add-ons to external games.

Speaking of something I have no understanding of, we have, League of Legends: Monthly Rift (Herald’s capsule) Rewards, which are for those who enjoy League of Legends. This became available for players on May the 28th. With the Rift Herald’s Capsule, you’ll get several skin shards, a legendary skin shard, and Twitch Prime exclusive emote. This will be available until August the 28th.

Let’s swiftly move on, with World of Tanks Care Package Echo & Captured King Tiger Tank. As one would assume this will be for World of Tanks and includes several cosmetics, a day of World of Tanks premium, a fourteen day rental of two premium tanks, and a few extra missions. This bonus is available until June 28th.

While we’re on the subject of cosmetics, Dungeon Hunter Champions is offering a special cosmetic armor outfit. If I’m very honest, this is a stiff deal for Dungeon Hunter Champions fans; League of Legends may be doing their’s in loot boxes, but at least it could be something you’ve already been working toward, pushing you over the line. As I’m not a fan of either game I can’t say I’d be too happy with this loot, however, the adage is “lesser of two evils,” which League of Legends seems to be (oddly enough). This loot is available until July 2nd.

While we’re taling about subscription services and their offerings, Twitch Prime is offering free periods with two separate services. The first of which I’ve already spoken about for two months, and I’m sure if you’ve already picked up your 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online membership you’ll be running up on your first three months. If you are, you will have to renew that with Twitch Prime to get your further 9 months that are left. However, if you haven’t picked up this opportunity, then you are missing out on playing online with friends and enjoying classic Nintendo games.

The second subscription is to Crunchyroll. With your Twitch Prime subscription, you’ll have 30 days free of Crunchyroll premium to binge all the anime you’d ever want. If you want you could watch all 55 episodes of Attack on Titan while playing Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, which released today in Europe and North America.

Both of these subscriptions are free with your Twitch prime subscription. The former is available until this September 25th, while the latter is only available until June the 14th.

Circling back to video game add-ons, StarCraft 2: Vorazun: Nerazim Bundle is currently available. One would assume with this bundle you will receive, much like previous bundles: Consoles skins, banners, emoticons, and spray packs. As the Twitch Prime pages aren’t offering much information at this time, I can only say that this bundle is available until July the 9th.

I’ll once again quickly say that the Magic the Gathering Arena loot is available until June the 25th. The Arena Boros Legion Deck includes a 60-card deck which includes within itself 5 rare cards and 1 Mythic rare card.

However, we head back to the land of cosmetics with Path of Exile. The Divine Cosmetic Bundle will include the Divine Herald, Divine Ice Crown, and Divine sign. Once again, I’ll say that Path of Exile players may not be getting an all too divine deal here either. However, this bundle is available until June the 24th.

We’ll continue with three more bundles of cosmetics. First, we’ll begin with the Smite: Price of Darkness Hades Bundle: A true bundle indeed as this will offer all previous Twitch Prime bundle’s for Smite and the Paladins‘ Pyre Warrior Drogoz, as well as Realm Royale‘s Mittens Chicken Skin. It does seem to be entirely cosmetic, though does feel full of content for fans. This content is available until June the 27th

The second bundle is a little barer in comparison. If you are still playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 you may want to pick up the Customization Bundle 2. This will include one reticle (seemingly the Treyarch logo), one jump pack (purple camo wing-suit and parachute), and one warpaint (gold and blue). Black Ops fans can get this until June the 11th, so you’ll want to be fast with this one.

Last but not least, is the Warface: NeoN Punk Bundle. This is a collection of what one would presume to be neon punk weapon skins for the: Tavor TAR-21, Alpine, Remington 870 CB, and Aug A3 9MM XS. Seemingly nothing more or less than that. Available until July the 2nd.

The final digital cosmetics come from the En Masse Action RPG Pack #3. This time it is seemingly for TERA exclusively with ultra-violet wings, elite status, a Violette pet; for Closers there are more elite Status and vouchers, trancendental elixirs, and another four costume pieces (hair jacket shoes, sunglasses) for a second character. You can pick this up until June 26th.

Then you also have the Overwatch partnership allowing you to buy an Overwatch League 2019 access pass which gets you 200 Overwatch League Tokens, 20% off of Overwatch League merch, a pick of three team themes emotes, and 500 Twitch bits for $14.99. Available until September 29th.

The final digital loot, excluding the free games, is a free (one month) subscription to RuneScape and Old School Runescape. As it says on the tin, you will have one month free of both RuneScape games, or which ever you prefer.

However, the last of the loot seems to be very strange. With your Twitch Prime Subscription, if you live in the UK or Deutschland (Germany), you’ll get 10% off of all Twitch Merch. This one is only available until June the 12th, so hurry if you want some Twitch merch from their Pride Month collection.

Now we get to the games of which are disappointing after last year. Last year, as I’ve said, there was a slew of games and there was something for almost everyone. This year, as we have come back around to June, and E3 alike, Twitch Prime is offering four games for free, all smaller indies. The first is Aegis Defenders, the second is Stikbold! third is 10 Second Ninja X, and the fourth is Metronomicon. Most of which I’ve heard only good things about, however, it doesn’t feel as spread out as the previous year’s selection.
