April’s lineup for Xbox Game Pass is downright mad. In the best way, of course. That’s because one of last year’s biggest games is coming, along with a 2017 GOTY contender and other great titles.
Monster Hunter: World – April 18th
This was one of the past year’s biggest titles. Even for longtime fans, the game stayed true to its roots. In Monster Hunter: World, you take on the role of a hunter and slay ferocious monsters in a living, breathing ecosystem. In this world, you can use the landscape and its diverse inhabitants to get the upper hand on larger than life beasts. Hunt alone or in co-op with up to three other players, and use materials collected from fallen foes to craft new gear and take on even bigger, badder beasts. The progression is wonderful and the game is even better.
Prey – April 11th
In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever, but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted. As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station — your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities. The fate of the Talos I and everyone aboard is in your hands. If you played the original Prey, this is quite different, but the spirit of mystery and combat is the same.
Other Titles Coming to Xbox Game Pass in April

April 11th – The Golf Club 2
April 18th – The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
April 24th – Life is Strange 2: Episode 2
