Pikachu was released by Funko in a regular 4″ and 6″ mega pop, followed by Bulbasaur in 4″. Now, another original starter joins the growing list of Pokémon figures.

In its listing for the new figure, Funko announced that while its tail will flare up when it gets angry, this Pop! will be happy to join your team! That’s right, Charmander joins a growing list of Funko figures from the original 151. Before this, Bulbasaur had been the only Pokémon released other than Pikachu. Now, it seems Squirtle is only a matter of time, given the trend of original starts being released.

It was long rumored that a Pokémon series of Funko Pop! figures would be coming, but after years of whispers, the popular collectible company led things off with a Pikachu figure that was exclusive to Target stores in the United States.

The March “A Day with Pikachu” Funko figure was also unveiled. While the February figure celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with Pikachu dressed in green, the new Rainy Day Pokémon shows a more unhappy Pikachu who is stuck in the rain. Dressed in a yellow raincoat, the Electric-type Pokémon holds his Sunny Form Castform, hoping it will make the weather sunny again.
